- Is there a way to feed an RF signal into the IV-24's Video Interface Unit
- (VIU)? I have the standard VIU BTW.
-
- My Sanyo camcorder has an 8-pin AUDIO/VIDEO terminal, to which I can
- connect a cable that has a box that outputs an RF signal. I then plug
- the other end of this cable to the back of my VCR (I think the port is
- called an F-connector), then I have to plug an RCA cable from the VCR's
- VIDEO-OUT jack to the CVS-1 or CVS-2 connector on my VIU. This is a real
- pain since my VCR is in the livingroom. I'd like to be able to somehow
- plug the output from the camcorder's RF signal directly into the VIU if
- it's possible, so I won't have to go through the VCR.
-
- There are no other jacks on my camcorder (no A/V jacks besides the 8-pin
- terminal I mentioned). I used to have a special cable that plugs into
- the camcorder's 8-pin terminal and then splits into VIDEO and AUDIO for
- connecting to RCA jacks, but until I can get a new one or fix the old
- one...(new ones cost $50 and take forever to come in).
-
- If anyone has any suggestions...
-
- Thanks.
